A note to advise on the death of Garry Laffan brother of past President Paula Laffan.

The death has occurred of Garry Laffan, Fontane Straße, Berlin, Germany

 

It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the sudden death of Garry Laffan of Berlin, Germany, formerly of Roscrea, Co Tipperary. Garry passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on 16th July 2026, at his home in Berlin, aged 54.

 

Predeceased by his mother, Ann, Garry will be forever remembered by his beloved father John, stepmother Mary, brother John, sisters Miriam, Paula and Dee.

 

Garry will be sadly missed by his brother-in-law Padraig, sister-in-law Marianne, Dee’s partner Jamie, nephews Jarred and Roan, step-sisters Emma-Jane and Maureen and their families, and his aunts, uncles, and cousins. Plus Garry’s many friends from Ireland, Berlin, and the many countries he travelled to over the years.

Garry was very easy going and these memorials are to celebrate his life, so no formal clothing necessary.  Wear something of colour if you like.
